For the iVote Project I initially really struggled with what direction I wanted to go with this project. I generally haven't been very politically involved or conscious most of my life. Then as I did more brainstorming, I dedicated that deforestation was a topic I both felt passionately about, and thought would be an interesting visual challenge to solve. 

Some of the challenges I had while designing this were trying to come up with something original and unique, trying to make sure the piece didn't make it look like I supported deforestation, and not using any words in the piece.
